Wildflower Workshop
Myself and Jody did a wildflower workshop. We went through a small class and learned a few things and then the next day we got up bright and early and met up with our class from the previous night. We drove to the botanical gardens in woodlake. Apparently there was a big shortage on wildflowers in the foothills this year, so plan B. It was a very beautiful garden but I have to say it was 90% a rose garden, which was okay, but you can only take so many pictures of roses. Jody and I had a blast. We had a Tamron Rep there with a car full of equipment which we were able borrow and try out. this however just made me want to wishlist lens even more. I will get there...sigh...ok back to the blog. If anything Jody and I got some great shots and some good laughs too. When we were done we packed up our gear and went to lunch...sushi YUM! Here are a few of the pictures I got. Enjoy =)

I Heart Faces April Challenge "Happiness"
Happiness is two people falling in love. Happiness is two people staying in love. Happiness is laughing no matter what. Happiness is creating a life and passing along the happiness to our created lives. Happiness is this wonderful couple. Happiness is in the smiles of these parents to be.
These are two of the happiest people I know. They were so fun to work with because of how much they laughed and had fun.

Ok, Here we go...
Here we go, first time. Toes entering the water. I have never done this before. I guess the best way to describe my ultimate plan here is like this. I would like to write about things that I shoot, sessions and things I learn. Not only write about it but actually show it off. so here we go. Last week my family and I took a small drive up to the foothills to a family ranch. There I took some fun pictures of my son.
Later in the week, I marched out to the magnolia tree in our backyard and shot it. What can I say, it was in full bloom and it had it coming. I decided to take advantage of these shots and used it to tests my skills at adding texture. Here is the Before and After.
And there you have it. My first Blog...complete.
